1.1 This privacy policy informs and notifies you of the types, the scope, the purpose, and your rights concerning your data collected and processed by Data Handler LLC (hereinafter "Failsafe.app"). 1.2 By visiting and using Failsafe.app and services provided by Failsafe.app (hereinafter collectively "Failsafe.app Services") you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Collection, Processing and Use of Data

2.1 When using Failsafe.app Services you provide Failsafe.app with data including your name, email address, payment information, and voluntarily uploaded files. This also includes the data entered as content intended for your designated email recipients 2.2 We collect IP addresses during sign up and sign in. 2.3 The data Failsafe.app collects and processes is necessary for the conclusion of a contractual relationship, performing web requests or for billing purposes. 2.4 Failsafe.app passes your data on to third parties to fulfil Failsafe.app's contract with you or if it is necessary for invoicing and accounting purposes. In particular Amazon Web Services, Inc and Amazon Web Services GmbH operate our webservers and databases so that your data is stored in their data centers in the USA. 2.5 Failsafe.app has put technical and organizational measures in place to protect your personally identifiable data from unauthorized access and abuse. 2.6 If required by law Failsafe.app may provide data to law enforcement. 2.7 Failsafe.app deletes personally identifiable data once its purpose has been fulfilled unless legally required to retain the data.

3. Log Data

3.1 When accessing Failsafe.app Services, information about IP address, referring URL, date/time, browser version and operating system, amount and state of transferred data is stored by Failsafe.app. 3.2 Failsafe.app uses the log data without any other personal or pseudonymous profiling as required by law only for the purpose of the operation, security and optimization of our service.

4. Payment Processing

4.1 Payments to Failsafe.app are processed by Stripe Inc. (Privacy Policy at thtps://stripe.com/privacy). Your credit card data is stored only by Stripe Inc.. Failsafe.app does not store credit card data. 4.2 We will store your IP address to verify your location for tax purposes.

5. Email

5.1 When you send Failsafe.app email or contact Failsafe.app through the web, Failsafe.app stores the message and email headers. 5.2 Failsafe.app will send you service related email (e.g. account confirmation, notifications of invitations, changes of the service). You cannot opt out of this email.

6. Cookies

6.1 A cookie is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored in a user's web browser while a user is browsing a website. When the user browses the same website in the future, the data stored in the cookie can be retrieved by the website to notify the website of the user's previous activity. In compliance with legal requirements Failsafe.app will at any time provide you with information on your personally identifiable data stored by Failsafe.app, free of charge and without undue delay. 8.2. Furthermore, you are free to revoke the approvals granted by confirming this Privacy Policy, at any time and with future effect.
